Daycare is good!!

I got to go my first day of doggie daycare the other day. Mama says I need an outlet for my extra energy. She says I need to quite destroying all of the pillows and comforters on their bed. I am not allowed in the bedroom anymore without their supervison.

I wasn't really quite sure what to make of it and was not at all thrilled that Mama just left me there. "What is she thinking" I thought. I was pretty scared and nervous at first. They almost called my Mama to tell her I was not enjoying myself and that she should come and get me, and just as my trainer went in to call my Mama I finally started playing with a couple of little girl dogs. My Mama called in the afternoon during my nap and the trainer told her I was doing just fine and actually enjoying myself, which was completely true. When my Papa came to pick me up I was happy to see him but not at all ready to go home, I just wanted to keep PLAYING. What a great place daycare is. I can't beleive I just get to hang out and play, ALL DAY. I love it. Although I didn't have much energy when I got home and just lounged on the couch all evening, I still can't wait to go back. I let you know how my second time goes.

So proud of my brother Harley Joe!!

Hi all!! I just wanted to make sure you all heard the great news about my brother earning his CGC this past weekend. I am so super proud of him. Harley is such a great role model for me!! I really look up to him!! Mama says I get to take classes next and work towards my CGC and TDI, just like Harley!! YAY!! I also wanted to let you all know that I got to be in my first booth with Wisconsin Doberman Rescue this past weekend as well. I did great!! Even if I do say so myself. It was great fun, everyone came out just to pet me and tell me how cute I am, what a great gig!! Harley was there too. We showed everyone we met how great and loving Dobermans are. We had people tell us that they were surprised that they weren't fearful being around and petting us. I don't know why they would be afraid, Dobermans are GREAT!!! Harley kissed all of their faces and I nuzzled everyone within leash reach. I met some really great dogs and super friendly people. I can't wait until I get to do it again. Clean bill of health!!

Well its me again. Today I got a clean bill of health from my doctor. No more cone head for me!!! Yay!!! I didn't need to have surgery or anything. Just some patience, medicine, cone, and lots and lots of TLC from my mama and papa. So the drama is over, now I don't know what I should tell you all about. How about how darn cold it is here. I have to wear booties every time I go outside. It's kind of a pain, and papa laughs at me everytime I go out with them on. He says I look like a horse walking with my feet so high. I tell ya though, my tootsies are toasty!! Mama says she going to be getting us some new coats too. Can't wait!!! Well off to play with Harley. Hope all is well with all of you!!

Another day, another trip to the vet

Hi everyone!! So I went back to the vet the other day. They put two more sutures in!! Didn't they take the hint the last time they put those things in!! Anyways I have to wear my cone for at least another week. Yay me!! It could be worse though, at least that's what my mama keeps telling me. So I am taking it all in stride and being a really good boy about all of this drama. Mama and Papa do take off my hat as often as they can, although it only seems to be off when they are around. Guess they don't trust me. Wonder why. Well that's it for now, time for my yummy medicine. That too is taken in stride.

Don't eat your sutures-they'll leave a bad taste in your- mouth!!

So I decided that I really didn't want to wait the 10-14 days they said I needed to wait to get my sutures out. I decided to take them out myself after about 3 days. Boy was my mama upset. I don't know what the big deal was. I felt fine!! So mama had to take me to my doctor, where they told her it would cost about $750.00, that made her REALLY upset. So she found another doctor that said I shouldn't have them put back in because the area was so red and inflammed, from me licking it. That doctor was really nice and my mama was much calmer when we left that doctor's office. So now I have to wear this big stupid cone on my head, take two different medicines, and my mama has to put an ice pack on my incision a couple of times a day. I guess I didn't think taking them out early would be a big deal, guess I was wrong. Mama won't let me play or wrestle with my brother, who doesn't want to come by me with my cone on because he is afraid of it. I guess next time I will just wait and have the doctor take them out, but hopefully there won't be a next time. I will let you know how this whole neuter story ends, I have another appointment with my NEW doctor next week. Wish me luck!!!

A day I hope to soon forget!!

Yesterday my mama took me to get neutered. I wasn't really sure what that meant, until I knew what that meant. My mama says I was cryptorchid so I had to have a little more invasive surgery than most. I also got vaccinated and microchipped. Anything else you guys wana do to me. Geez!!! When my mama came to pick me up I wouldn't even look at her. Boy was I mad. Although when I got home and was crying all night she never left my side. Not once. So today I am feeling much better and I have decided that she only did what she did for my well-being. She loves me and I love her and that's that about that. Well until next time...
