It seems like forever since I found out that you passed over the Rainbow Bridge, but really it hasn't even been 24 hours ye. You were full of life and laughter and were always able to come up with some new scheme or contraption to pull one over on us girls. But at the same time you quite the gentlemen and a great friend. You'll always be in my heart Wilson and I'll see you again in the future when it's my time to pass over the Rainbow Bridge.

I almost had Clyde's birthday present!!!!

I almost had a birthday present for Clyde!!!!! I was in the backyard while mom was pulling weeds and I sniffed out this big mouse that was hiding in a flower pot!!!!! You should have seen the size of it!!! Boy, was it fat and I know it would have made for some good eating!!!! But, no, mom has to hear and started yelling at me, No Katie, No Katie!!! Sometimes I think that's mine name too!!!!! So, the mouse got away. Tallulah even tried to help me catch it, but she couldn't either. Clyde understood though, and like always he was oblivious to what was going on and was only interested in trying to get our mom to play fetch with him!!!!!

Boy!!!!! What an afternoon!!!!!!

I had to go see my vet today!!!!! Clyde just loves her to death and Tallulah kinda likes her too, but I get really, really nervous when I have to go see her. My mom's been kinda worried about me this week because I have COPD and I've been coughing alot after drinking my water. I had to have that awful thermometer stuck up you know where. But, the good news is that my lungs sounded good. I had to get a shot and have to take an antibiotic. The vet says that alot of dogs have been coming in with allergies, so hopefully that's all it is. But, the best part of it all is on the way home I got to see a duck and a squirrel. How cool is that????? And then I got to eat supper!!!!!!!

I Outsmarted Him Again

My brother Clyde can be not so smart at times. Tonight he wouldn't give me room up on the couch. So what's an intelligent female canine do you ask? I quickly jump off the couch with my ears standing at attention, rapidly run out of the room, barking the whole time. This is done for the sole purpose of getting my brother off of the couch. As soon as he was out of my way, I doubled back and jumped up on the couch right next to my mom!!!!! She gave me that knowing look and said, " I know what you just did." It works everytime!!!!!

Busted Again!!!!!

I have an issue with toilet paper. I love to eat toilet paper when it's new on the roll, used in the wastepaper basket, still in the plastic wrap from the store. I even like the cardboard thing it wraps around. The problem is that my mom does not understand my fascination with toilet paper and I'm always getting into trouble for it. Well, it happened again. I thought my mom was sound asleep this afternoon, taking a nap. So I stealthily snuck into the other bathroom where I could just smell the odor of toilet paper permeating from. So what would any red-blooded girl do, but GET THE TOILET PAPER!!!!! Did I mention that I did have to countersurf and it was mom's fault because she didn't put it away in the toilet paper holder? I was very, very quiet. I even had gotten as far as the bedroom floor when I hear this voice of authority as I was just getting ready to enjoy a snack say, "Katie, I don't think so!!!!" So I stopped dead in my tracks, looked all repentant and all and jumped back into bed. Ohhh, what a life!!!!!!

I'm so brave!!!!!

I am such a brave girl!!!! I didn't even get scared at all, well at least not like my brother Clyde. The lightning woke our mom up around 3:40 this morning and when she turned on the radio she found out that there was a tornado warning and that tornados were heading just north of us. We have just a great mom because she put our leashes on and we all got in the hallway til the wind, rain, and lightning was gone. It was really scary, but I made sure I kept my game face on so I wouldn't seem like a big baby like Clyde!!!!

Still in trouble

What's a girl to do? It seems like I'm always getting into trouble for eating something I shouldn't. We all went to my Grandma's house tonight for supper and to visit. Well, my mom's mom has these horses out there and they had had their nails filed in the front yard. Well, what would any red blooded female dog do but eat the horse's hooves, right? So mom calls me by my full name and everybody knows that's when your in trouble right? What I don't understand is why Clyde and Tallulah didn't try to eat them. I guess they just don't have an acquired taste for the finer things.

I love toilet paper sooo.... much I just can't help myself

Well, it seems like my love for toilet paper keeps getting me into trouble. It was the middle of the night this morning, my mom was sound asleep and I'm sure was dreaming about me and probably about Clyde and Tallulah too. But, I'm sure the main focus of her dream was ME!!!!! Well, I could hear the toilet paper in the bathroom calling "Katie, Katie, Katie". So I gently and stealthily jumped off the bed and got the toilet paper out of the bathroom. Boy was I really have a great time tearing it up into shreds and eating some of it too and was just about finished when my mom, who I thought was still dreaming about ME woke up!!!!! She took one look at me tearing up the toilet paper and in that motherly tone of hers said, "Katie, I don't think so!!!!" So I immediately froze, got the poor sad, woe is me look on my face, and jumped back up into bed. Oh well it was fun while it lasted. Now I just can't wait to do it again!!!

A girl's got to do what a girl's got to do

Well, Clyde and Tallulah have started a diary, so I can't let them outdo me now can I? I really enjoy a good book: eating the cover, the pages, the binder. I also like a good newspaper, bills, and even like to eat homework, but for this I did get into trouble because it had to be done all over again. My mom keeps telling me that she should buy stock in a toilet paper company because if she doesn't put it where I can't get to it, it's history. I'm able to find paper products in the most hard to reach places. I also have this thing about bird food. I absolutely love it!!! Mom keeps telling me that bird food is for birds that's why it's called bird food and that dog food is for dog's and that's why it's called dog food. But, it all tastes good to me. It is embarrassing at times though, like the time I went to vet and you know how they stick that thing up your bum, because when the vet pulled it out she said that it looked like birdseed. You know it's kinda hard on your mom when she has to say yes it is birdseed. But, a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do!!!!!!
