I got my birthday toy today!

I did not want to play with it and I seemed in a bad mood. Mommy is unsure why. Mommy made the Frosty Paws for my party on Saturday and I got to lick out the mixing bowl and it was so yummy.

Today is the day my birthday is celebrated.

My exact birthday is not known since I was a stray. The vet estimated how old I was so mommy just counted backwards from the day she found me. Mommy is having a party for me on Saturday. Mommy gave me a bag of treats tonight. I got to have a few of them.

I scared mommy!

Mommy thought I was outside with Abbie and Charlie. When she let Abbie and Charlie inside the house I did not come inside with them. Mommy looked inside the house in all my usually places and she did not see me. She thought I somehow got out of the yard. She looked all over the neighborhood. She even contacted the animal control to find out if somebody reported a lost dog. Mommy came home I found me in the closet. I guess I went into the closet and mommy did not know I was inside the closet and she closed the door.

Mommy is so glad I am safe.

I am in trouble now!

This morning mommy made some breakfast and left it on the kitchen counter. Mommy went to the door to let Abbie and Charlie in. While she was out of the kitchen I made a big leap and I was able to get a sausage off her plate. I also knocked the plate off the counter. Mommy was able to save the rest of her food. I guess mommy will have to push the food back even farther back from the edge of the counter since I now know I can leap up and reach the counter and grab some goodies.

Today was my birthday

Today we celebrated my birthday. My exact birthday is unknown. When I was adopted, my age was estimate at 1 1/2 so mommy just subtracted 1 1/2 years from the day I was adopted. Mommy originally planned to have my party on Saturday, but since I was sick the party was postponed. I am not 100% all better yet so my mommy decided not to make a cake.


Tonight, mommy gave me a new box of my favorite snack Blue Dog Bakery Peanut Butter and Molasses cookies. I had to share my cookies with Abbie and Charlie and I was not very happy about it. I got a new toy and I loved it and Abbie also loved my new toy. She kept trying to take my new toy away from me. Mommy had to keep getting on to Abbie for taking my toy.

Mommy went to the store to get some Frosty Paws, but our store did not have any so mommy plans to buy some this weekend when she goes shopping.

Mommy posted some of the pictures of my party on my profile and she also posted pictures of Abbie being bad on Abbie's profile.

My birthday

Today was my birthday and mommy made me some homemade cookies. I got two new balls that are for rough chewers, but it was no match for me. I already destroyed one ball.

Do you believe that Abbie tried to counter surf my cookies while they were cooling on the table? It is a good thing that mommy was near the table so she could push the plate out of her reach. I did get to lick the bowl out and I was so much fun.

1. I love jumping and I often get in trouble when I take flying leaps off mommy. I get double in trouble if I make her fall. Oops.

2. I love to be near mommy and I will suddenly leap into her lap when she is not expecting it and I get in trouble again. (I don't understand I only weigh 30 pounds)

3. I love food and I love to jump up and steal food right out of mommy's hands. I am fast and mommy has to watch me carefully when she is eating.

4. I am bed hog and always have to the first in bed so I can get mommy's spot in bed. It is a game for mommy to get me off her spot on the bed. At least I warm her spot up for her.

5. I often wake mommy up by jumping her in the bed. I am better than an alarm clock.

I really can't find 5 of my pals that have not been tagged to death. I will have to edit post later.

My 2nd anniversary in my forever home

I am so happy today; two years ago, I was a stray roaming the neighborhood. I was hanging around what would be my new home. My new mommy tried to get me to come inside the house since the temperature was below freezing. I am glad I finally went inside. I got some food and away from the cold temperature outside. At first mommy called me Stray while she was looking for my old home. She posted posters around town, called the newspaper office, and contacted the animal control to see if anybody was missing me. She also took me to the vet to see if I was micro chipped. A few days later, mommy noticed that all the posters were missing around town and mommy asked on the store employees about it and she was told that the signs were removed since somebody told them that he was home. At that point, it was official that I was a permanent member of the family.

Now mommy needed a new name for me, she tried several names at first. When she said Toto, I came a running to her and I responded to that name every time she said it so I was named Toto.

I was bad again today

I found more mud to roll in and the great mystery, where is where the mud located in the yard. It still has not rain and the ground is dry. The good news is that it is still below freezing and I will not get a bath, and I will just get another rub down with waterless bath shampoo.

I got in trouble today!

I rolled in mud today and since we have not had any rain, mommy is wondering where the mud came from. The yard is dry and mommy could not find the mud. Abbie is the one that normally rolls in mud, but I guess I found it instead of Abbie.

The good news is that since it is so cold outside and it was so late at night, that I did not get a bath tonight. I only got a rub down with some waterless bath spray. Mommy did say something about a B A T H on Sunday afternoon. Maybe I can find a hiding spot.
