Fluffy, White, Magical Stuff!

Like usual potty time called my name a short while ago. When Mom opened the door I flew out of it like always. However, this time I didn’t run out into that itchy stuff called “grass�. This time the whole ground was WHITE with FLUFFY, COLD, MAGICAL stuff. I immediately lifted my front paw and glared down to see what the heck I had gotten myself into. I tried to sniff it out but It went up my nose (and had no smell). So then I bit it! Nothing happened….but I got a mouth full of really cold water. I almost forgot that I had to potty. But suddenly I got really cold and the urge hit me really bad. When I pottied that white stuff turned yellow! I must say that I had the best potty time ever! I ran, jumped, dug holes, ate, and rooted in that stuff! Mom stood at the door laughing as hard as she could at me. It even stuck to my hair in little balls….so even when I came inside I got to play with it! Mom wasn’t too happy about that part though. She said that I was “yucky� and dirtied up her floor! Oh well…I think that stuff was neat no matter what Mom says. I have yet to figure out what the heck that stuff is! All I know is I like it (even if it is cold). Well, gotta’ run. After an adventure like that I’m tired….so I’m going night nighting. But before I fall asleep, I might try to convince Mom that I have to potty again…do you think she’ll fall for it?!?!?!?

"Bad Girl"

My Mama was a “bad girl” earlier today and I just want to say that I was VERY upset with her. She wasn’t paying a lick of attention where she was going and stepped right on my favorite ball and broke it in half! THEN she had the nerve to ask me: “TeaKah do you always have leave your toys in the middle of the floor?”. I don’t care what she says, this is MY house and I’ll do whatever I want….she just needs to pay closer attention! Well, apparently I must have gotten my point across with the look that I gave her because shortly after that we went “bye byes” to the puppy store. Mom bought me TWO new favorite balls and a chew bone! Now that was a pretty good deal! Not to mention the cashier lady and the teller at the bank gave me treats! I was soooo excited. I must say that my day hasn’t turned out so bad after all. Also, I’ve learned a pretty valuable lesson-- from now on I’m ALWAYS going to leave my toys in the middle of the floor in hopes that Mom WILL step on them. I can spare loosing one old toy as long as I get two new ones to replace it! Well, “potty time” sure is calling my name (which I hate--it‘s the middle of January and it‘s COLD outside). So unfortunately I’m going outside to shiver, shake, and potty! All I’ve got to say is, Thank goodness I’m not one of those naked dogs….I’d freeze!

PS~ My Mama wasn’t such a “bad girl” after all……

My First 8 Months of Life!

Hi, my name is TeaKah and I’m 8 months old (and weight 6 lbs). I was born in a place called Alabama on May 4, 2006. I now live in Virginia and have a Mama that I love soooo much. I only weighed 1.6 pounds when I came to my new home. My Mama says that I sure have grown up fast but she keeps talking about how tiny I am. I don’t quite understand…..because if I’m growing up then how can I still be “tiny”??? Anyways, enough about my silly human--this page is about ME! When I’m not “night nighting” I like to play with my toys. I have lots and lots of toys. Sometimes my brother and sisters try to take them but I pull on their ears until they let them go. When I’m a good girl my Mama gives me treats….and I LOOOOVVVEE treats! Aside from treats-- I also like when it’s pretty outside because I get to float around in our swimming pool on a big pink float with Mom. Sometimes when I get close to the edge of the float I see my reflection in the water and bark at it. I bark at myself in the mirror too! I also love to go “buh byes” in the car. I have my own doggy booster seat which helps me to see where we’re going. My booster seat sure does make a good bed for when I fall asleep in the car….which happens a lot. I also have my own doggy stroller for when I get tired when we go walking. Everyone always talks about how “spoiled” I am. But I can’t help that I’m so dog-gone cute! Speaking of which, you should see me right after a bath. I have bows of all shapes and sizes that go in my hair. Sometimes I wish that I didn’t have to wear them but I can’t see without them because my hair hangs in my face. Plus, my Mama likes me to wear them-- so I tolerate them for her. But when she’s not looking I sometimes dig at them and rub my head on the floor to get them out. When I get caught doing something bad such as that….I tuck my tail and run as fast as I can go in circles around our coffee table in the living room. This makes Mama laugh and she forgets about me being naughty! Smart huh??? Aside from all the things that I do like…I've really learned to dislike loud noises and the words “no” and “ah atttt”. Well, I must say that I've learned a lot in my eight months of life and it sure has been an exciting adventure….And now it’s time for ME to go adventure and see what else I can get into next!….
