Arrival Story:
Peaches needed a home when my husband's Grandma went to live in the nursing home. She first went to a house with 8 other dogs and did not do well. She was very stressed out, losing hair, biting, and almost put to sleep. My husband refused to let her be put to sleep. She came to live with us even though I DID NOT want a dog. I said I understood that he didn't want her to die, and she could come live with us, but I was only going to live in the same house and otherwise have nothing to do with the dog. Well, she grew on me. Now she is MY BABY and I love her more than anything!! In fact, when the husband and I divorced I got the dog.

Bio:
Peaches lived to be almost 15 years old. She was almost totally blind, half deaf, and had a HUGE fast growing cancerous tumor on her tonuge. She was put to sleep on 2/9/06 and will be greatly missed.
