Arrival Story:
We adopted sweet Bernie from a rescue! I had been following his story on petfinder, and decided to submit an application. I have heard that the process can take forever and figured he'd be long gone by the time I was approved. To make a long story short, Bernie came home with us a week ago! He was in a car accident a few months back and left for dead. The wonderful folks at Save A Yorkie Rescue stepped in, got him the surgery he needed and have taken great care of him ever since. He is a really special little guy with lots of love and spunk. He's still got a lot of puppy in him (poor thing spent about 3 months of his puppyhood in a crate, either broken or recovering) and is amazining well-adjusted. We love our Bernie Bear!!!
