 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: March 1st 2006
Likes: sleeping/lying down on the sofa! she fallen in love with it!

Pet-Peeves: being crated

Favorite Toy: none yet

Favorite Food: chicken

Favorite Walk: anywhere

Best Tricks: moving her little front paws at me so I pick her up.

Arrival Story: Gracie was given to me by her previous owner since they didn't have time to take care of her. I met Gracie on my way to work, I saw her walking with a limp and I followed her till she went into a house. Her previous owner didn't really care about her and told me I could take her. When I first got her I gave her a bath since she was filthy and matted. Gracie has a limp on one of her back legs. When I checked her little paws I found that her claws in her back legs were poking into her skin because the were so overgrown, I trimmed her claws but she still limping...may be she's just sore on the area that was being poked by the claws on her paws. I'll have a vet checked her thoroughly to see if there is anything else wrong. I suspect that's the only thing wrong since she seems to be in no serious distress, she eats well, climbs tothe sofa, and is smiling frequently. I can tell she really loves being indoors and especially lying down on the sofa. She's in love with it!

Bio: Gracie is getting along with the other dogs. She seems underweight for her size but she is eating well now, I gave her a booster vaccine and deworming. She's a little fisty when it comes to getting grommed but she'll get used to it.
1/24/07 Gracie still limping even though we trimmed her nails, she's being seen by the vet. tomorrow and we'll see what's up with that. Also, she seem to be gaining quite alot of weight and her abdomen looks quite raised, she might be pregnant, I really hope not!
1/25/2007--I took Gracie for her vet. appt. this a.m. and yes....she is very much pregnant! She'll whelp her puppies in less than a month. The vet. said she could still do the spay but I declined because of the pregnancy being so advanced. We'll just have to deal with it:(.**************2/10/2007 Gracie whelped her puppies today between 12:00a.m. and 6a.m. She had 5 puppies but not sure how many females and how many males, we'll wait a few days before checking that. They are all peach color either peach light or peach dark and seem to be good in weight.

Forums Motto: I been given a second chance!
