Arrival Story:
We had to put my husbands dog to sleep and he was lonely for another one. He had always wanted a basset hound so I went looking for a rescue. My friend introduced me to a great rescue www.suncoastbasset.org. I picked 3 dogs on there site and inquired about them. They got back to us in less than 24 hours. I couldn't hold the secret any longer so I told my husband. Out of the 3 he chose Tristan. We drove 4 hours to meet him!! It was as is he knew that he was going to be Wayne's dog. When he got out of the car he ran right past me as if I didn't exist and ran right to Wayne. He jumped on him and INSISTED that he rub him. That was all it took. On the way home he snuck his way up front with us and laid in Wayne's lap the whole way home. I knew that it was love!!
