Birthday: June 20th 2005 Bio: Rio is a family pet and not a working dog. He is house and crate trained. He stays inside most of the time and is crated when he is home alone and at night. Rio has some skin allergies. They tend to be worse when he is outside. He gets generic benadryl when needed and prednisone. Prednisone is a steroid so we try to avoid giving him that as much as possible. The prednisone is very inexpensive and lasts along time since you only give a 1/4 of a tablet. He is good with other dogs but hasn't been around cats. He plays with the neighbor's dog and has been to the dog park on Pearsall Road. Usually, when another dog acts as the alpha he submits or just avoids them. He is a loyal and loving dog who is in need of a new home. Please send us an email at Kim@dogsrus.org if you can help him! UPDATE: Rio now has a home! I've Been On Dogster Since:
