Arrival Story:
I have had many homes in my short 2 years. My last was in a Boston Shelter where I was barking all the time. I drove everyone crazy, barking . Finally the wonderful people from Bichon Rescue came and transported me to Poughkeepsie. I have been living with Mommy and Daddy for 4 weeks and I very rarely bark. If I do they understand what I want. Food, Walk, Toy, Cookie, People at front door, Food, Walk, Toy, Cookie, Cookie July, 2008 - Up date on Jackson: I have been with Mommy and Daddy now for 4 years. Daddy bought a Motor Home, we go camping all summer. We go to great places where I get to go off leash and run with Toby. ( Toby stays on the leash cause mommy says he's not that bright, and may wander off). My favorite place is in Maine where they have a giant field with wild flowers. I have forgotten about my old life and the bad people -- I love my new life.

Bio:
It took me 2 years to find Mommy and Daddy, they love me even when I forget and pee on the floor, or on the couch, but I try hard to remember pee in the back yard!! let the squirrels know I am boss. The picture on the left is me at the shelter, the one on the top is me now! Oh one more thing . . Always adopt from a shelter or rescue, we (homeless dogs) have a few kinks but that's because we have been kicked around so much.
