Arrival Story:
We picked up Trooper at the pound. Trooper was named by the pound, and when we tried to change his name to Murphy (as in Murphy Brown) we found that Trooper was the name that was going to stick. The lady told us that they thought he was a beagle mix. WRONG. He was very well behaved at the pound and we decided to take him home. This dog was no beagle mix this dog was a hound dog. He is a Walker/Fox Hound He was the craziest, most energetic dog ever but recently calmed down with increasing age.
Bio:
Trooper loves going to the Mountains and dislikes baths, until after they are done, then he likes to be clean. He likes the outside and the fresh air and has caught many a squirrel in our backyard. His little sister Rosie annoys him sometimes, but they mostly love each other.
