Wow...things have been really hectic lately...Dante and I have been entertaining at our home and have also been traveling with furriends! We had Tiffy, Bear Doggie and the boys over for dinner and a swim and then we were off to SC with our new furriend Penny and her family. So far, this has been a whirlwind...Dante and I are blissfully happy and love spending all our time together.
We have also been busy visiting our families. My mommy has been under the weather so Dante and I checked in on her and gave her some doggie sugar on her forehead to make her sleep better. Dante's mommy has been checking in on her by phone. We love Dante's mommy being so helpful...she is a wonderfurl furriend to my mommy.
Well, Dante is calling...we are headed out to spend the day flying to TN to see his sister who got in a fight with her brofur and got some booboos. Reyndie and Wishey must have wanted the same food and Wishey won. Garth stayed with Reyndie last night to make her booboos better.
Ta ta for now...
Woofs & wiggles...
I feel I must write and make my mommy and Dante's mommy feel better...they seem to both be feeling our loss a lot lately...mommy found some new pictures of me that she is going to scan onto her computer and it made her shed some tears and that called me from the bridge to check on her. Also, Dante's mommy is feeling so guilty about not being there when Dante went to the bridge. Honestly, if we can cross without their help, it is just fine...that way our parents don't have to always remember that last earth breath or that last earth heartbeat. Garth was with mommy when he crossed and she can remember every second of it and it makes her cry so much. Garth tries to wipe her tears and make her feel a bit better. She knows that Garth is happy now at the bridge and making new furriends but that doesn't make things all better. I know that she is content with the fact that she was there with me all night and when she left me for a few minutes, I took the opportunity to cross...Bear was waiting for me and he took me into his big wings and carried me to the bridge. Dante's mommy was right there beside him, she was sleeping so sweetly and we were very careful not to wake her. Dante knows that she loved him so much and he is happy that his last years were the best in his life. Dante won't tell me what his life was before his mommy and daddy because he said it wasn't complete til he met them. I know what he means...I lived in a mean ole kennel and had no one to play with me and then one day, my mommy came to get me. My life began that day. I had 15 wonderfurl years with my mommy and daddy and I will be faithful and loyal and wait for them here however long it takes.
We are happy here...we are happy there...we are everywhere...
look for the signs...you will know...
with love to mommy, daddy, mommy Tonia & daddy Danny

Oh...I have been sooooo busy lately! I got some new curtains for the windows and they are so beautiful. They are long and billowy and they float when the breeze blows in. I didn't want anything that would block the view of the lake and the rainbow bridge in the background. Dante and I can sit on the balcony and sip on gingerale and watch the kitties and pups frolic down in the park. I put up some pictures too...pictures of Dante's family and my family. I got some really nice frames and they look so good on the wall and we have two special pictures on the mantle above the fireplace...our mommies and daddies. They are in a special spot and we can cuddle by the fire and gaze at them whenever we want.
Dante has been such a big help picking out the colors and such. He is also quite the whiz in the kitchen. He and I cook together...he helps me wash up the dishes too! What a wonderful boyfurriend I have!
Well, we are headed out to swim...or I should say HE is going to swim...I will just sit in the glorious sun and put my toes in.
I am going to make sure Dante puts lotion on since he doesn't have a lot of hair and we don't need a burn...bol
Time to go...
