hey, i turned 4!

dad took the day off and we had an awesome day with my new sister. he bought a birthday cake from the three dog bakery. we had a blast, especially when i pinned liberty.

i'm getting a sister!

dad told me that i'm getting a sister tomorrow. she's a 4 month old sable gsd and she's coming all the way from alabama. she probably has a funny accent but i'll still love her.

it's my birthday

hi everyone, dad tells me i turned 3 today. we went to the park this morning and i played with some friends, it was a blast.

dad said he's going to the three dog bakery to get me a birthday cake and we're having steak for my birthday supper. he says that i'm the greatest but i think he's not too bad himself.

did you hug your dog today?

dad came home from work and took me to the park again. an ugly lady with a weird looking dog approached the gate. i heard dad talking to the woman saying 'yes, he's very friendly'. they didn't come in to the park though and i had no one to play with for a while. dad said it was ok, some people are afraid of big dogs, especially black ones for some reason and german shepherd dogs in particular. he told me not to take it personally, whatever that means.

when we got home he was rambling on about how much he loved me, yada yada yada, then he hugged me. it was a good day.

I woke up this morning and scratched. Then i sniffed and scratched some more. Hmm, I'm hungry. Is Dad still sleeping? I'm gonna go check. Well, his eyes are closed but I'm not sure. Sometimes you can tell by getting in close and licking his face.

Oh yeah, he's up.
