Good morning Merlin my sweet and wonderful big boy, how are you this bright but very chilly morning? Its pretty overcast and as I said quite chilly, although it would make a good run and play day for you my boy. Bella isn't going outside as much as its getting colder in the day, she prefers to lay down inside the house where its warmer.

You are a very lucky boy again Merlin, you have been given more wonderful gifts from TedEbear, Droopy, Odie, Maxi and BBF and Angel Whisper.

Thank you all for your kindness to my sweet boy Merlin.

Every morning Molly jumps up and lays at the bottom of my bed cramping my legs so I have to get up whether I want to our not. She's laying there right now fast asleep.

Bella growled at Mia my Granddaughter the other day, as Mia wanted to pet her. Bella wasn't scolded too harshly as she is getting old and miserable, and doesn't want to be pulled about. However, Bella could have gotten up and walked away. Mia was told she mustn't try to play with Bella as she isn't as friendly as Molly, Spud or Hobo. I was quite proud of Spud a few days ago, Melissa my daughter put Mia on Spud's back and he let her do it. I told Spud I was proud of him and gave him a cuddle.

Mia is really getting mobile now, the other day she came running, well not exactly running, she was leaning too far forward and began to walk/run to keep her balance. It was so funny to watch. What is so sweet is when she comes walking towards me with her arms out wanting a cuddle from me and the other day she had a teddy bear in one hand and her pj's in the other. Oh Merlin I wish you were here to see it, unless of course you were looking down on her. She is really a sweet heart. Last night she was throwing her dinner around so I told her off, he face told the whole story, “My Granddad told me off, he's not supposed to do that.” Her bottom lip quivered but she didn't cry, she looked at her mum, Her Nana and her uncle Mike then back at me. Everyone was trying so hard not to laugh. She really is precious Merlin, she really is.

Good morning Merlin my sweet and wonderful big boy, how are you today? I hope that you are having lots and lots of fun with your buddies running and playing and chasing each other.

Because of the problem I had yesterday with my internet connect I am writing this on my word processor and when I do get on line I can copy and paste straight into your diary. Yesterday my internet connection went down as I was writing on your diary and I couldn't get it back for hours, boy I was getting so annoyed my boy.

You are such a lucky boy again, you have received a beautiful bunch of flowers from TedEbear and one from Droopy.

Its a nice day today Merlin, nice and sunny, no cloud and no wind but nice and cool. I wish it were like this all year around it would be much nicer here. I bet you remember the really hot summers my boy and how tiring they can be.

I found another sign of your presence my boy, remember when you knocked over the oil filled radiator and left an impression of the fins in the floor? Every time I see that I smile, I remember how clumsy you could be at times. Not a horrible nasty clumsy, a sweet clumsy. I do miss your clumsiness Merlin, I wish you were here right now being clumsy with me.

I guess its time to go play with your buddies my boy and have some fun.

Hello my so special big boy, I see you are such a lucky boy again, you have been given two chalices by Droopy and one by Angel Whisper..

Thank you everyone for being so kind to my furbabies and myself. I thank God that there people such as yourselves.

I'm writing this on my word processor before I actually post onto your diary, my server is playing up again and I lose internet connection. I type this up connect to the internet and then post.

I let the dogs out this morning and straight away go running to the back fence and start barking at the dog behind the fence. Its a good job I can shout very loudly and get our dogs to stop. Its handy being an ex drill instructor eh Merlin. Lol.

Its quite a nice day today, quite cool but not cold and its nice and bright and sunny, very few clouds in the sky and no wind, a good run and play day for you my boy chasing Spud. Spud is pretty fast on his feet, and so is Molly now, she has actually overtaken Spud, much to Spud's surprise.

This morning Molly was being a pain in the neck, I was trying to put Hobo's muzzle on and she kept trying to play fight with him, when I finally got it on Hobo, I then tried to get Bella's on, and Molly tried to play fight with her. I had to shout VERY loudly at her to stop her.

I guess its time for you to go play with your buddies my sweet and wonderful boy and have some fun.

Hello my special big boy, how are you today? I hope that you are having lots and lots of fun with your buddies.

We have a power cut right now, so I am running on batteries on my lap top at the moment, so I had better not dilly dally in getting this post into your diary.

Mia is so mobile now she keeps showing up in my study, its like a magnet to her. I hear a rustling behind me and Mia has got her hands into things she shouldn't. Oh boy, she is such a handful, I wonder what is she going to be like when she REALLY starts running around?

Its Mothers Day today Merlin, so hadn't you better wish Lady Zara "Happy Mothers Day?" After all she is the mother of your puppies. We miss Lady Zara too Merlin, she really was your girlfriend, she loved you so much my boy, she also loved all of us and we loved her.

Molly will keep grabbing hold of the bottom of my jeans and trying to pull me over. The only way I can get her to let go is to keep a few puppy biscuits in my pocket and throw them, then she lets go!

Good morning my special boy, it's quite a nice day today, a good run and play day. You could chase Spud all you wanted to my boy. Its nice and sunny but not hot, its quite nice. Last night was very cold, I had the wall heater next to be bed on, and of course Molly was laying in front of it. She likes her comfort just like you did my boy and quite rightly so.

Spud is still pushing his luck, Mike my son read him the riot act the other evening for being his obnoxious self. I had hoped that by now he would have calmed down, but he hasn't, he's still like an overactive ping pong ball. The other day he grabbed a bag of charcoal and run around the property with it, looking very proud of himself. Now there's charcoal all over the place.

Mia my Granddaughter is REALLY getting on with her walking, she is REALLY mobile now. She is such a sweetheart Merlin she is so loved by everybody. People in the mall look at her and they can't help smiling and remarking how beautiful she is. Her eyes are the most beautiful blue I have ever seen, she is going to break a lot of hearts. This morning she came walking into my bedroom and held her arms out to me, "Wanting a cuddle from her Granddad."

Good morning my sweet and wonderful big boy.

Hows my special boy Merlin today? I really hope you are having lots and lots of fun with your buddies running and playing and jumping and chasing.

It was very cold last night and this morning, looks like winter is here finally, although its nice and sunny today. It would be a nice run and play day for you Merlin, you would have to run and play to keep warm. Last night before bed I had a mug of hot soup to warm me up, it sent me off to sleep very quickly. I am surprised though that Molly didn't jump up on my bed last night, but she does jump up every morning trapping my legs! For a little girl she is heavy and takes up a lot of room.

I was so annoyed the other day, an elderly man and his wife walks their dogs past our property which obviously causes our dogs and the dogs on the opposite side of the road bark. He stopped by the fence opposite which caused the dogs to go banana's, when he bent down, picked up a stone and threw it at the dogs, then the dogs owner came out and asked what's going on, I don't know what was said, but one of his dogs yelped. I was so annoyed because its the elderly man caused the dogs to bark and the dog paid for it.

I'm waiting for the man to throw stones at our dogs, he will wish he hadn't, believe me Merlin.

I keep checking your bones and topping them up to make sure you have plenty my boy, some days I am sure you are giving them away when the number drops suddenly. But then again, you always have had a big heart my boy.

Good morning my boy, hows my special boy today?

Its nice and bright and sunny today but there is a chill in the air. Last night and this morning was very cold and its quite cold right now even inside the house. During winter I long for summer and during summer I long for winter. I wish it was a nice even and comfortable temperature all year round.

Mia has got earache, poor little mite, if its not one thing its another, but she does cry when she wants to be picked up and cuddled. Yesterday I held out my arms to her and she came running to me with her arms out, I picked her up and gave her a nice cuddle. After a few minutes she wanted to be put down. Molly walked past Mia wagging her tail and knocked Mia on her backside, which caused Mia to start laughing. That child brings so much joy Merlin, how I wish you were here my boy, I really do.

My back pain has eased quite a bit, but its still there. I'm fed up being in pain all the time. I'll be happy when I cross the bridge so I can be with you and not in pain anymore. We will have so much fun together Merlin.

CONGRATULATIONS MY SWEET AND WONDERFUL BIG BOY, your diary has been chosen as one of todays picks. Well done my boy, I am so proud of you.

Its overcast today my boy, and quite cool so it would make a very good run and play day for you. You would be able to run to your hearts content until you had enough, had a drink of water and flopped down on my bed.

Molly was very good last night, well sort of, she woke me at 3am to go to the toilet. I am proud of her that she woke me up to go outside, but being woen up at 3am is not good. It took me ages to get back to sleep, on top of that she spent the rest of the night laying at the bottom of the bed and leaving me a few inches for my legs.

I am very annoyed with Spud at the moment, I was calling Molly who came running up to me when Spud blocked her. I went to towards Spud to tell him off, Molly thought she was in trouble as well.

Mia my Granddaughter was creating a heck of a racket last night over dinner, she didn't want to eat and kept crying for her mum to cuddle her. Oh boy how I wish for a quiet and peaceful dinner.

Good morning my precious boy, I really hope you are enjoying yourself my boy.

Its a lovely day today, nice and bright and sunny but not too warm, it would be a wonderful run and play day for you my boy. I just let Molly, Spud, Bella and Hobo out to play, Molly and Spud go bonkers for a few minutes play fighting, Spud hurts Molly and she goes for him, then after a few minutes they are best pals again and are inseparable. I really wonder what's going through their minds at times. Molly has been behaving herself the past few days, I hope she keeps it up. She can be so sweet most of the time, but when she is naughty, boy is she naughty.

Over the weekend the pain in my back eased of quite a lot, but yesterday it came back again and last night was so bad it woke me up. I had to get up at 1am and take one of my very strong pain killers and another one this morning. They make the pain bearable but it doesn't completely go away. That's what military service does, the pain from all the tasks we did doesn't come until later in life.

Yesterday was amazing Merlin, Mia my Granddaughter came running up to me with her arms outspread wanting a cuddle. Oh boy Merlin, she melted my heart. I do love that little girl she is so beautiful and wonderful.

Time to go play my sweet boy and have some fun with your buddies.

Good morning my sweet and wonderful big boy Merlin.

Hows my favourite boy today? I think you would like it today here Merlin, its nice and sunny, not too warm, just nice. I think you would be running around until you were all tuckered out and flopped down fast asleep.

I just had to give Molly a cuddle after she was naughty yesterday, she really does melt my heart. She can be so good at times, and other times she tries to show that she is the boss, which sadly doesn't work out for her. She is very strong willed, and has a very strong spirit I'll say that for her. The last thing I want to do is break her spirit, but she has got to do as she is told. I never ever had any problem with you my boy, you always did as you were told.

As the dogs next door have been screened off Bella, Hobo and Spud don't bark at them any more, so they now bark at the dogs at the back of us, but at least they can't get to each other and hurt one another. This time Molly joins in barking. They have a tiny dog next door as well as two bullmastiffs, the tiny dog has got such an amusing squeak for a bark, it does make me chuckle.

Its time for you to go play with your buddies and have some fun my boy.
