Good morning Merlin my oh so special big boy, how are you this morning? I bet you have been having lots of fun and games running and chasing.

Its a heck of a hot day again today Merlin, there is a slight breeze but its not doing much good to keep us cool. There's not a cloud in the sky so I don't see it getting cooler anytime soon. All the doggies are inside again today, its simply too hot for them outside. I know where you would be, on or under my bed snoring your head off.

Molly is laying at my feet right now, like you she really doesn't want to be far from anyone. I always make sure she knows that she is loved, just as I did with you, I hope you know how deeply my love was and still is for you my boy, I hope Molly knows the same. She is still full of mischief and fun, she thinks its amusing to grab hold of the bottom of my jeans and pulling. Remember how you use to wrap your paw around my leg? The times I nearly fell over. I'd shout "MERLIN LET MY LEG GO, MERLIN BEHAVE!!!!" You would sit in front of me with that cheeky smile of yours. Oh boy what a puppy you are.

Time to go play and have some fun Merlin with your buddies.

I do love you so much Merlin, that love will never die.
