Hello my sweet and wonderful big boy. I hope you have been having fun.

Yesterday was not a good day at all, Bella and Hobo managed to attack one of the puppies next door, they had dragged the poor little mite halfway through the fence. When I saw it I really thought it was dead, I was so angry Merlin, I can't even begin to tell you how angry I was. Your mum saw it was alive and with, Mike and I managed to get the poor little thing free. The owners are obviously upset and I can't blame them. My initial reaction was to put Bella and Hobo to sleep, I was as I said Merlin, so angry, your mum was prepared to take Bella to the animal shelter. As you know Bella is your mums dog and it was breaking your mums heart. I didn't think it was fair that Bella took all the blame, Hobo was involved as well. When I began to calm down I saw another solution, muzzle Bella and Hobo, I don't like it but its better than being put to sleep or put into a shelter. Then Mike my son said that to cover ourselves we should also muzzle Molly and Spud so that if any of next doors dogs have any wounds due to bites, they can't blame our dogs. Although I think its very unfair that Molly and Spud have got to be muzzled, they were not involved at all.

This is not the first time Bella and Hobo have done this, I really don't know why they do it. Bella and Hobo are rescue dogs, so we don't really know what their past lives have been like and what has made them behave as they do.

I'm so sorry this is not a very good diary entry Merlin, I'll try and do better tomorrow.

Go play and enjoy yourself my so sweet and wonderful big boy.

I love you Merlin

Your ever loving Daddy.
