Favorite Toy:
by far it's gotta be any squeakytoy! rawhides, shoelaces!

Favorite Food:
pig ears, doggie treats, fruit, I'll eat anything really - I'm a cattle dog afterall!!

Favorite Walk:
chasing dad on his bicycle in the hills, snowhoeing w/mom and dad, she really loves running the snow and playing with other dogs

Best Tricks:
Tell her to "go see" and she'll look all around the fence tops for racoons, tell her "get squeaky" and she'll get squeaky-the-hedgehog. AND she's an excellent watch dog!

Arrival Story:
we had been looking for an ACD to rescue for some time and had been checking www.milofoundation.org frequently (Milo is a no-kill animal rescue that rescues dogs from high-kill shelters in Northern CA) . Macie's photo was posted and we got in touch with the Milo Foundation immediately. Within a week we had brought her home!

Bio:
Macie is a wonderful, smart, loving, and sometimes stubborn little girl. I don't know how we ever lived without her. From what we know, she was living in Ukiah with one of her puppies when Animal Control picked them up and put them in the Mendocino County Animal Shelter where they would be euthanized within a couple of weeks if not adopted. I think she had a rough start in life b/c her front top and bottom teeth are worn down to the nub. She was sooo skinny and was badly infested with fleas and ticks. The Milo foundation rescued both macie and her puppy, had them spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped and ready for adoption! She's such a happy and healthy girl now.
