I so love and adore you. You mean a lot to me and to my mom. We've got a pretty good life. We're not rich in the material world, but we are so much richer in the spiritual one with community, friendship and a loving higher power. Let's face it, that's what carries us during hard times, and what can truly be counted on in the face of any adversity.
Some very special pals (with the help of their mommy's) hooked us up with some zealies and a Dogster Plus subscription, and don't even get me started on the valentines! You know who you are - I won't embarrass you. I am grateful though, and mom was in tears at your thoughtfulness and generosity. She was bragging about her Dogster friends to daddy! That's nothing new though. Mom frequently tells daddy about our Dogster pals - even if he doesn't pay that much attention to us (BOL)!
Well, we are just starting to celebrate the new year here at our house. It might seem late, but it was a weird kind of Christmas and New Year for us. Last week was very productive and I don't see us stopping any time soon!
Until the next time, put on some music and DANCE like you mean it!

5 things I love about Halloween:
1) I love that mom and dad stay home and spoil me because they don't like to go out on Halloween!
2) I love being in the living room with the fire in the woodstove.
3) I love that I live in the mountains where no pesky kids come around all dressed up (that would seriously stess me out)!
4) I love the holiday spirit, Halloween really kicks it off!
5) I love that I will always remember being Mr. October (dog o' the month) in October 2008 :)

Oh, how I love Spring! I could sing a dal song if I weren't such a good poet and if I had me a tambourine. BOL!

Hi everyfur!
Who says miracles don't happen? I was selected dog of the day on Monday and there are more than 456,000 dogs on Dogster! That's got to be a miracle! I have to bark at you, mom was doing something between laughter and smiles with tears in her eyes and shock mixed in. She couldn't wait to tell everyone she knows including the vet and fire department involved with my rescue. And was I ever popular that day! I got prezzies and new friends, and notes from my very favorite pals!!! What an honor, and one I will not soon forget.
Oh furs, would you look at what day it is? It's Christmas Eve!!! To all of you fine hairy and not so hairy dogs, won't you promise you'll give extra love to your pawrents today? And if you happen to live near snow, take a romp through it for this California beach dal who has never seen that magical white powder from the sky!

1) I'm 3, male and weigh 55 pounds
2) I sleep in mom and dad's bed every night with my back pushed up to my mom. I'll re-adjust off and on all night so that I am always pressed up against her.
3) I'm a deafie, but I see and smell extra good, too good maybe!
4) I play "Who's alpha?" with Simba the siamese cat but we never hurt each other
5) I lay in mom's office most of the day while she works, we might as well be attached at the hip!

I am proud and honored to carry the torch for the month of October as the man about town over at Connect the Dots (that's my club). I was voted by some generous pals of mine over there to be the Dal 'o the MONTH! Do you know how pawsome that is? There are over 300 members in that group! That's why I have promised to be on my very best behavior: only barking clean jokes, refraining from marking in the wrong places and always thanking Maizy for her delicious meals at the cafe. There is a lot more to being a good dal 'o the MONTH and I promise to fulfil my responsibilities graciously (woof) and joyfully (woof woof)!
