Arrival Story:
I was born on Aug 17th/06 , and it was a 6 hr drive to get to my forever home. Luckily, my birth family delivered me to my mom. I had a very long drive, especially considering it was my first drive. But I had to get used to drives, my mom takes me and Abbie everywhere she goes. And let me tell you, she goes alot of places. So, my arrival was not weird or anything, just special. I arrived at my forever home and Abbie was there to help me. She was jsut 12 months old then herself. But, she knew everything!! I am really glad that I have such a good home to live in. Any dog that gets to sleep on a sofa or bed(whichever I choose, or both) all day while everyone else works has got it made!!!

Hi guys. How is everything? Well, I have to tell you how bad my sister, Abbie, is!! Mom and dad took us for a walk on Saturday because it was sunny and the rain from Friday night had washed all the snow away. So off we go for our walk. Abbie, or as mom calls her when she is mad at her, Abigail, was looking to jump into puddles. I mean really, there is more to a walk then puddle jumping, really. Back to my story. On our way back, Abbie found a really iced over stream and boy I thought it looked pretty scary . But, Abbie, being herself, took off and jumped onto the ice. She was walking around for about a minute or so and all of a sudden the ice cracked and she fell into the water. What a scare. I froze, I couldn't move, and I wasn't even on the ice. Abbie had fallen through the ice and only her front paws and head were above water. Poor mom was so upset. But our dad came to her rescue. He walked down to where Abbie was and reached in over the ice and hauled her out, with one arm. Really, one arm, and Abbie isn't no small chick let me tell you. Dad got lots of kisses from Abbie for that. She was so happy, she was running around in circles. I guess if I had fallen into the ice and got rescued I would be that happy too. In the meantime, I was so scared that I couldn't move from the side of the bank. Mom had to come over and carry me up to the path. I love my mom. Dad said it was a good thing that I didn't follow her, like normal. I might have went right underneath Abbie. What a day. When finally got home, I slept until Sunday morning. All this excitement is very tiring, especially for a young thing like me. Anyway, that's it for now. We will chat soon.

Hello everyone, My name is Mollie and I am 22 wks old. I was adopted in Oct/06. I have a big sister named Abbie and she shows me the rules of the house. I don't always obey her, but she will remind me of them. So does mom. We get along great.
I am a chocolate labrador retriever. I don't like the rain or wet weather. But that might change as I get older. Abbie loves getting wet and dirty. I like to be clean myself. But, as you can tell, when I am dirty you won't see it anyway. Mom tells me that I will be getting spayed soon, not quite sure what that is, but Abbie has had it done and it's my turn. Abbie told me that mom will spoil me rotten when it gets done. So, I am looking forward to be spoiled rotten, not like that I am already not spoiled. Ha Ha Ha
