Arrival Story:
June was taken away from her first owner in a neglect/abuse case, and ended up at a local shelter. I went to the shelter to see one of her puppies, but immediately fell in love with june, a skinny, nearly hairless, terrified momma dog with her ears chopped off. I adopted her on my 21st birthday, she's absolutely the best birthday gift I ever been given. She's a lassie-caliber dog, completely in tune with people and truly an old soul.
Bio:
I can't rave enough about the benefits of adopting a homeless animal. It is the most rewarding experience to see an animal that has been treated so poorly finally get the chance to flourish.
