Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: May 4th 2004
Likes: Going for rides, playing hide and seek and he also LOVES digging in the dirt, hunting moles, armadillos, cotton tails and bushy tails to. I guess you could say he's an all arounder!

Pet-Peeves: Dogs that growl at him, loud sirens, honking horns, sharing food or toys and he's not too crazy about cats either.

Favorite Toy: Dirty Rotten Kitty made by Fat Cat Toys and any kind of toy that laughs, talks etc.

Favorite Food: Pizza, or anything you are eating. Also anything from Grandma's ha! Doc's dog food is Solid Gold Wolf King and his favorite dog treat is Buddy Bisquits from Cloud Star.

Favorite Walk: Doc's heaven is a rural 40 acre tract of land that is fenced in with a pond.

Best Tricks: He does all the basic tricks...sit, lie down and roll over etc. and he knows each of his toys by name. If you say the name of a particular toy he will fetch that toy and bring it to you.

Arrival Story: I had just lost a beloved pet, Harley to cancer when Doc came into my life. I have often heard people say after something happens to their beloved they will never have another, but I just simply could not live my life like that. I cannot imagine NOT having another when the time is right. Doc brought so much joy at such a dark time. I was able to grieve and finally let go of some of the heartache since I was having to concentrate on caring for him. He really was a healer for me, the best medicine in the world for my broken heart!

Bio: Doc is a ham. He loves the show ring! He likes strutting his stuff in front of the judges and female dogs. He has good conformation, but tends to stay a little on the heavy side and needs to trim up some. Doc is a light fawn, or what some people call buckskin. It is perfectly allowed in the breed standard, but a lot of judges prefer white dogs. Doc has had some nice show wins and we plan on continuing his show career. He only needs a few more to have enough points for Championship. We will keep our fingers crossed and pray that he someday makes it. For the most part, Doc is a good boy. He has a gentle nature with most people and is usually fine with other dogs, even smaller ones. He's great in the show ring and will allow the judges to run their hands all over him. He doesn't even mind them looking at his teeth. Even though he is gentle, he is still a dominant dog. He will usually ignore a small feisty dog, but he does not like other large dogs to challenge him. If they submit he's fine, but if not WATCH OUT! If you think our Mastiff is BOSS, better think again! Doc is king of our castle! He is also a big silly clown.
He likes to watch people eat so he can drool and blow slobber bubbles. He likes to lie with his back legs in a froglegged position, or upside down with his legs all spraddled out. Grandma says he's airing himself out.
Oh yeah, beware if you bring home groceries once you put the bags down. He will rifle through each and every one to see if there's anything for him. He also loves opening Christmas presents. When the UPS man runs, he thinks every package should be his! Please check out Doc's website at www.sayloramericanbulldogs.com.
