Arrival Story:
Penny was born on November 3, 2001. We didn't know our dog, Jackie, was expecting but she had 6 puppies. We gave one away and kept the other five, including Penny, her sister and three brothers. She's such a darling, adorable baby and is the apple of her daddy's eye! When she was a little bitty puppy before we named her, she came up to me and it was an instant bond. Penny is daddy's girl and she sure shows it :-) She has mastered the art of killing unsuspecting birds who perch themselves on her water and food dish. When she was a bitty lil' pup she killed her first mouse! Both of her parents are hunting dogs so it runs in her veins. But she's a loving, affectionate girl! Penny is just full of love and is a great dog. She's got daddy wrapped around her little paw :D
