Birthday: March 2nd 2004 Likes: People, Toys, People, Other Dogs, People, Food, People....OK! PEOPLE! Pet-Peeves: Housemate Poppy not understanding how I want to play. Favorite Toy: Any toy out of reach or that Poppy has! Favorite Food: Fruits, Treats, Puppy food.....oh yeah rabbit poo....don't tell Mom Favorite Walk: Following Poppy wherever she goes....or my Mom wherever she goes. Best Tricks: My tricks are pretty darn good now. Mom has taught me how to roll over, play dead and sneeze (on command.) I am also learning how to pick up after myself...not so much fun, but makes Mom happy. Arrival Story: My Mom waited over 10 years to get a corgi. She says her life was just about perfect to add a corgi this year. It took her quite awhile to find someone to help her achieve her need for a corgi. Finally, someone said she could have me! She drove 7 hours one way to get me. I am her pride and joy...until I do sometin' I not supposed to...but I can fix anything by giving her my sad puppy eyes! I have been with her for over a month now...and she is a great new Mom. Now I have to work on my skills to get along with Mom's special cat Bubba. I pushed to hard to meet him and he does not like me...but Mom and me are working on him to accept me better. You might get to see a photo with me watching Bubba...he can be a little grumpy. Please come back soon and see me as I grow....Mom promises to add new pictures when she gets them!

Porter Bio: My parents are Champions and my half-sister is on her way to being one too. I am a "pet" dog and will not do conformation showing, but Mom says we will try tracking, obedience and more. I cannot wait! She says I am going to go meet some goats and maybe sheep soon. Latest update (11/7/04), I have had some great times tracking. We are still learning but it is a blast! Mom has kept me from the computer a lot lately. She has been on it way too much lately. She comes up with some wonderful excuses too! I'm working on the CP store. I'm writing cover letters. It's too hot today to go play.
Okay, we do play fetch a few times in the house each day. It does keep me in shape. It is hot outside and I hate the heat. I cannot wait for the snow to come back. It has been bad enough for our herding lessons to be cancelled every week. I really hope I can get back there and tell those goats off soon. Mom is sad for me too.
Oh, I bet you wonder why I put Naughty Dog for my post title. I feel bad not writing often. Yeah, Mom does hog the computer...but I do get chances to write. I much rather live life. There are flys to kill, cats to torment and family to guard.
If it does cool off a bit at evening, we get to go to a big field or a little lake to play. Mom has been trying to get me to swim. I am waiting for my lifevest. Hey with no tail, I have a little trouble steering my body in the water. I do not mind going in up to my chest, but that is it...no deeper.
Well, I am off to nap. Just had some fun and then typed this up. Oh, Mom has a new place that we share on the 'net. It is called a blog. You will get to see what she has to say there. I occasionally do try to post too. In fact, I posted there just a little bit ago.
I would love for you to believe that my Mom has been keeping me busy with many activites so that I do not find the time to write. While we have been busy, she has been hogging the computer. She says it's important stuff she has to do. Hey! I am the most important thing to do!
I have not had the chance to chase sheep yet, but Mom says it is coming soon. She just went to a herding event at a farm where I am supposed to start taking lessons. Guess Mom was impressed as she is trying to get me a lesson asap. She even has mentioned taking me to do some lure coursing. Don't know what that is, but it sure sounds like a blast!
Oh, Mom says I should promote myself a little bit and promote a good cause. Don't know how many people actually stop by and read my diary, but any little bit helps.

Mom has been helping me get myself known to the world via the internet. Not only do I have my own Dogster page, but now she is working with me on my very own website. She says it isn't much as it is free, but it is GREAT because it is all about ME!
Okay, sorry my ego is raring to go. Something I have to work on according to Mom. She keeps me grounded...her words. I don't like the sounds of "grounded." Sounds too much like "Go to your corner" or "Timeout." Not sure what they mean, but they just do not sound good.
I'm a little sad as we were supposed to meet some creatures called sheep this past Wednesday. Mom said we couldn't go as conditions were dangerous...something about an ice covered field. Hey, I love the ice...it is so much fun slipping and sliding on the stuff...so how is it dangerous? We are waiting to hear back from the instructor to find out when we can go and meet the sheep. I cannot wait as Mom says we will be seeing just what kind of herding dog I am. I am the BEST! Of course, I am not really sure what I will have to do, but I will do my best as always. (Sorry my ego again...must be humble....it is so tiring.)
Well, I have to go and rest a bit. Mom taking me out in the blowing cold in a bit. I want to make sure I have enough energy to run around out there and generate some heat. Funny thing is...I run hot already, but I do love a good run out in the cold!
