Our sweet friend Rocky went to the Bridge today. His family has been so dear to us for so long and we just can't say how sorry we are for their loss. Our prayers are with them, and I promise to take the best care of their dear boy at the Bridge.

We found out that our dear friend Rocky has cancer. He developed a swelling between his eyes and they just found out this week that it's cancer. Rocky's family are such dear friends of our and we love them so much. Please join me in saying prayers for Rocky to help him and his family through this difficult time as they are trying to figure out the best plan of care for him.

A photo stroll has also been started. Please tag your photo:

My 2 year anniversary at the Bridge

Has it been 2 years since I went to the Bridge? Mom says it sure doesn't feel like it. She and Dad think of me so often. She thinks about my wiggle, my snuffling, my dancing, my sassing, and sometimes she swears she still hears me. Mom says that she will forever be a bulldog parent. With all my funny quirks and neuroses that made me me. They miss me every single day, and I miss them, but I am very happy that they have been able to share the last 2 years with Damon. He deserved parents who will always be there for him, and now he's got just that. Mom says that she's so glad they can share their love with Damon because he has done so much to help them move past their pain of losing me.

I miss all my friends and family, but I am always near by watching over them. My Dogster friends (which to us are family) have been so wonderful to us. They helped Mom get through such hard times, and they are just as true friends with sweet Damon.

Just wanted to let you know I'm still around, and even though you can't see me, I'm sure not far away. I'll always be right there with you in your heart where the wiggle dances go on furever.

Birthday cake at the Bridge!

Today is my woofday, and we are celebrating with a gigantic cake at the Bridge! The angel pups sure know how to throw a pawty!

It's my second birthday that I've had up at the bridge, and Mom and Dad sure miss me. They talk about me all the time and laugh about all the silly things I used to do. Stamping my front feet and wiggling my butt for them to turn on my fan when they got home, warbling and snuffling at Mom so that she'd go into the living room to tell Dad to come into the bedroom with us, letting out a huge sigh when they'd finally turn off the bedroom lights at bedtime...... the list goes on and on.

They can feel that I'm never far away, which is very very true because I'm right there with them in their hearts.

Mom and Dad received an incredible gift today from Moxie and Gromit's daddy, James. He made a beautiful wooden board with my picture on it, plus my name and dates. Get this--it's a skate board! How cool is that??? Now I'm a skate boarding bulldog! It truly is a work of art, and Mom and Dad are so touched to have such a beautiful piece to hang in my memory. Please check out the pictures Mom posted for me. Mom can't wait to hang it up!

Today, February 21st, BBB Winston's Woofday! It's also a very special birthday because it's his first birthday since going to the Bridge. While I am very lucky and honored to have Winston at the Bridge with me to be my best friend, I know his family misses their Big Win terribly. We send them all our love and comforting hugs and I promise to give Winston the best Bridge pawty ever!

Winston, we will always love you and you are furever in our hearts.

1 Year Anniversary of going to the Bridge

As of today, it's been 1 year since I went to the Bridge. Mom still can't believe it's been a year. I believe that's because she holds me so close to her heart. I am very happy that in the last year, a deserving pup was able to be given a furever family. I'm so happy that my family found Damon, and that Damon found them.

Dad still says my name sometimes by accident when he's talking about Damon. Mom still has all my pictures up at work and smiles everytime she looks up at them. Though they miss me, they are able to talk about me without tears. Having Damon to love has been such a comfort to them and has made all the difference in the world.

Thank you everypup and pawrent who have taken such good care of my family. Words can't describe how appreciative we are. I miss my wonderful friends and family, but I am never far away and will always be watching over you.

Even though I am at the Bridge this Christmas, I want all my friends to know that I am with each and every one of them, sharing in the joy of this holiday. The angel pups are all watching over you to share in the joy when you're happy and to hold you close through tough times.

Have a wonderful Christmas, and just remember that although us angel pups know you miss us, we are never far away and always sending you to our love.

License Renewal

Mom had something sad happen last night. She received a reminder email for renewing my county dog license. She hadn't even thought about the fact that she would be getting a reminder email this year, so she wasn't exactly prepared to see it. Dad saw the look on her face and asked what was wrong, so she told him. It really upset him too. Mom clicked on the link in the email and when it brings up the page, it gives the option to select "no longer own this dog." So she clicked on it. Mom just hated the wording of it especially because it's not exactly true. I mean it's not like she gave me away. The site gave the option to add new dogs, so she went ahead and got Damon registered for his new tag which did make her feel better. It was just one of those icky things.

Up here at the Bridge though, we don't even need collars and tags. There's no such thing as getting lost and we just get to run around free as a birds! It's ok Mom, I certainly don't miss those jingly ol' dog tags!
