Swimmingly, thank you!

Yesterday I went swimming for the first time this summer. Mom couldn't find my old life vest (she thinks dad threw it out by accident) so she bought me a very nice new one made by Outward Hound. It really helped me float better than my old one. Mom put her hands under my chest just so I knew she was there and I could swim across the pool. All I wanted to do though was swim to the stairs - BOL!!! Well it was my first time since last year. It'll get better! Winston didn't get in the water. He ran into the house with Molly - BOL!!! Guess we know he's never been swimming now.

The weather has cooled down to mid 90s and there is smoke filling the air. The winds pushed a lot of smoke towards our way from the fires burning South of us. Probably won't get any swimming in today. But there is the whole summer ahead of us!

Dad put up the hammock and of course all 3 schnauzers jumped into it, well Georgie was picked up of course. Then us boys ran to play while mom & Georgie snoozed. I stood next to the hammock and mom used me to help her swing back and forth. Hey, we get our pets where we can!
