Doggie Daycare

Asleep

Yesterday (5/8/07) was really strange. First of all mommy did not feed me and the cats in the morning like she always does! She made me go to work(North Broad Animal Clinic) with her with an empty belly. I kept running back to the door after we left and trying to tell her that she had forgotten something. . .but she didn't understand, so I finally got in the car. When we got to work everything seemed normal. I played downstairs in the fenced-in backyard with my best friend Nehimiah and then came back upstairs and rested in my kennel. Then mommy came and got me and put a shot in my arm. The shot made me feel really sleepy. When I woke up, I was really dizzy and my belly hurt. Mommy was there with me. I tried to walk, but my back legs would not cooperate! My head finally cleared a little and I was able to get back in my kennel and I slept for the rest of the day. I don't know what happened to me, but I have a cool zipper down my tummy now!

Doggie Daycare

Mommy makes me go to Doggie Daycare on Wednesdays from 7:30-11:30. She makes me socilize with other people and other dogs because when I go to work with her at the vet clinic and I am out of my kennel I bark at all the people and animals that come in the door. Doesn't mommy realize that everyone else to out to do her harm and that I must protect her?. Last week I observed daycare from a chair and only after I had deemed it safe, I crawled down and played with a few toys. This week I played with a few dogs, but I am still wary of new people.
