Arrival Story:
Ella was born on the streets of Compton. Her dad split and left the poor mommy dog with homeless, hungry, flea-bitten babies and no one to take care of them. Somehow they survived on their own for 6 (we think) weeks before being picked up by a nice lady at the Compton Rescue. She posted the pups on petfinder.com, where we fell in love with the picture of this cute, little "lab/husky" mix. When we met Ella, she was the sweetest little puppy and we knew she had to be part of our family. We brought her home and as she's growing, it's evident that she's neither a husky nor a lab, but that's ok because she's just perfect.

Bio:
Ella had some health problems at the beginning, probably due to being homeless. She had mange, her leg hair fell out after some kind of allergic reaction, she itched a lot, and also had some major social issues. After lots of unpleasant trips to the vet, an annoying cone around her neck, a healthy diet, training, and lots of love - she's doing great. In fact, we can't go anywhere without people telling us how beautiful she is and how soft and pretty her hair is. This is just proof about what a little TLC can do.
