Today my mom told me I am fabulous. I got a bath, first one in two months, and a good brushing (which I don't really like) and now I'm SO shiney! Mom got stopped a few times on our walk because people commented on how even my white fur was shiney and how healthy I look!
I'm pretty wonderful I guess, she says its because I'm a good snuggler, and a good fetcher, and I like to bark at strangers, and....because I'm shiney!
A day in the life of me consists of waking my mom up super early with the other dogs. Then I get to go outside, sniff around, pee, and usually I can find something to bark at just so the neighbors know that I'm outside. I come back inside and my mom has all five food dishes ready to go, I have to wait my turn, I'm usually second in line, and then I have to do a trick for breakfast. My best trick is fetch, my mom ususally likes me to sit, shake, stand up, or lay down for breakfast.
After breakfast I will terrorize the cats, Boykitty and Archimedes, for an hour or so and then play tug of war with Spartagus. He's pretty good at it, but most of the time I win, unless I'm feeling generous and let him win. After that I sleep for a few hours until mom gets home from work or school.
Then it's fun time, we go for walks to the field and play lots of fetch and run around with the other dogs. Oriana has to stay on a long line since she runs away, so I like to tangle her up and jump over her rope. If it's summer, or a nice day, mom will take my horseback riding sometimes. I LOVE horses. Actually I love all livestock and anything that I can chase. I'm pretty good at chasing. In fact, it's my specialty as a Border Collie.
When night comes we all get fed again, line up, sit, shake, eat. I'll rough house with my brothers some more, and chase the cats around a time or two for good measure before bed time. Then we all pile onto mom's king size bed (that means her, her boyfriend, me, Sparty, Duke, Oriana, and the cats). We like to watch CSI or MythBusters before bed. Sometimes, I get to stay up late and watch the dog shows or Ceasar Milan (I love him!) with mom.
