Arrival Story:
Sam is a sad case. A family member of mine said that his sister's husband had a dog that he wanted to get rid of. He didn't want to mess with taking him to the pound, so he was just going to shoot him! I said "go get that dog!". He was scared of everything, had been fed God-knows-what, had sores all over his back from squeezing into his too-small doghouse, and we found out later the idiot used to shoot at him for fun. Some people deserve to be shot themselves! Anyway, we were going to foster Sam until we found a good home for him. I didn't tell my husband right away, but since Sam rode in the back seat with his head on my shoulder the night I brought him home....I was hooked. So, Sam stayed. He's annoying at times, but very affectionate.
Bio:
My husband started calling him "Frog Dog" because he says Sam has great big eyes that sit on top of his head. Okay.....
