Arrival Story:
When our beloved rescued Doberman Sam passed away, we wanted to rescue another one. A rescue group called and told us there was a Dobe named Chocolate at a local shelter. I called, and sure enough "Chocolate" was still there. I arrived a few minutes later and saw a sweet, brown dog - more Lab than Dobe - but what the heck! I went to adopt him, so I did just that. He has been a real treasure and we tell him "he's the best dog in the world" because he is.

Bio:
We changed his name to Schultz (new life - new name) as his past was not so terrific. His leg had been broken while in his previous home but the shelter had gotten it fixed. The first week at our house he chewed the stuffing out of our new couch and a shoe or two, but never has done a wrong thing since. We think he knows exactly where his bread is buttered.
