Collar & Leash are not my friends!

This weekend the worst thing EVER happened to me! Mom made me walk on a leash! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I don't think I have ever been so tortured in my whole life. She put this stupid collar on me. The darn thing had a bell. Mom told me it was so she could find me in the house. My brother Marvin told me it was a cat collar. I think he was laughing when he told me. A CAT COLLAR! Of all the things! I tried for a while to get it off. I cried, I screamed, I threw myself on the floor, I scratched at it, I even ran to my brother for help. Nothing worked. Still had the collar on. GRRRRRRRR.......

Mom then thought that it was time for me to learn what the leash was. She put Marvin's collar and leash on him and he was soooo excited. I kind of got excited thinking something fun was coming. NO! She put a leash on me and put me down out in the back yard. At first it was great! I just followed Marvin. Then, I smelt something interesting over by the shrubs. I wanted to go over there but couldn't. The collar and leash wouldn't let me. I threw a big fit. I growled, I barked, I cried, I screamed, I threw myself on the grass, I flopped around. Nothing! Mom just stood there and watched me. I think she even asked me if I was finished yet. Boy talk about love! I tried to get Marvin to help but he didn't even look at me. Some brother!

We walked around the yard forever. Mom said we could go back in when I stopped throwing myself on the grass. I picked up on that one pretty quick.

Ok, so the leash and collar arn't that bad. If only the collar didn't have a bell!

The ears

My ears have been trying to stand up for the last few days, but, as of yesterday, my right ear is standing! It surprised me at first. I didn't know what it was and I was a little startled when I saw it out of the corner of my eye. I thought it was my brother. Nope! Just my ear.

My brother Marvin had no idea what happened. One minute I was all floppy eared and the next minute I had an ear sticking up! He couldn't help but check it out. He nibbled my ear a couple of times making sure I was ok.

All is good!
