Arrival Story:
Jacks came to me orphaned from a domestic dispute. I promised to try to find Jacks a good home. The last time I had a dog I was a little kid, and I wasn't really looking for one at the time. But after a week we were inseparable. I started reading about dog care, took him to the vet, and got used to the mushy feeling of picking up dog waste with a plastic bag. Jacks did his part by beginning to teach me his commands. Through trial and error we have built up a nice little vocabulary. He's a very patient teacher.
