Likes: I like going for car rides. I love playing in the yard with mom and Lo.
Pet-Peeves: I hate it when people confuse me for a boxer. It's always, "Gee, that's a mighty, big boxer you got there!" or "You didn't dock it's tail?". I AM NOT A BOXER.
Favorite Toy: The Orbee World Ball.
Favorite Food: We love Orijen 6 Fish as well as Fromm Salmon a la Veg. I also like any of the Dogswell Snacks, Wellness Well Bars, and Bully Sticks.
Favorite Walk: My most favorite walk ever was on the beach in North Carolina with mom. Here at home I'm pretty lazy, but like to go to the bike trail every now and then!
Arrival Story: I was born in Kentucky in December 2005. A Christmas baby I guess you could call me. Mom had been wanting a bullmastiff for forever and had finally felt like she was ready to take one on. She found me online and contacted the breeder. Mom had a good feeling about the whole situation from the very start. She and my grama rented a car to drive all the way from central Ohio to south west Kentucky just to come get me. It was the best day of my life. Ever since I have come to live here, I have been given nothing but love.

Mom has been torturing us for about the past 2 weeks. She has all of a sudden decided that she can cook and has made things from cute little Christmas cookies to mouthwatering steaks. I did not know my mother was capable of cooking. After these 2 weeks of agony I hope that she doesn't forget about my birthday this Thursday (that's December 20th for any of my pals who would like to leave me a little something). She really hasn't said to much about it which makes me worry a little that she may have forgot. She has made a cake for Chunk and Lola this year, so I had better not get left out on this deal. Come to think of it though, there was a large metal dish that was in the shape of a bone that came in the mail the other day. And there was a bandanna in the package too. It has balloons and streamers all over it and it says something, but I can't read! Well, if she does do anything special for me for my special day I will be sure to have her take pictures and we'll get them here on Dogster lickety split!
I was tagged by a buddy of mine, Jammer G, for the new Thanksgiving tag! Here are the rules: "Because it's Thanksgiving time, there is a change to the rules. Each player needs to tell seven special things they are thankful", so here it goes!
1. I am thankful for my mother. She would do anything and everything in her power to make me a happy and healthy pup.
2. I am thankful for my pup brother and sisters. I'd be pretty lonely in this house sometimes without them.
3. I am thankful for my yummy food that mom buys for me. She says it's expensive, but worth going without fast food if it means good nutrition for me.
4. I am thankful for Dogster, and the fact that there is an online community for all of us dog lovers!
5. I am thankful for my grama. She really helps out when mom isn't around!
6. I am thankful for the fact that my mother cared enough to have me spayed so that I won't have to have any babies.
7. I am thankful for all the simple things in life.
Great news! Mom took me to work with her the other day and had Dr. K check out my leg (I'd been limping around the house since about Monday). Anyway, mom has always been really concerned about my hips because of how I walk. Well, Dr. K took my pictures (x-rays) and determined that my hips are great! What a relief! He really couldn't find much of anything wrong on the x-ray and came to the conclusion that most likely I am just having 'growth pains'. I wish mom would remember the name that he called it. Anyway, it's not uncommon in large breed dogs and it usually goes away by the age of 2. Mom is soooo happy! She was really worried about me (that's because she's such a good mom!).
