Arrival Story:
Kipper came to a local vet school as a shelter dog to be neutered. He was a stray and I found out about him through a friend who was a vet-student and fellow corgi owner. I tracked him to the shelter and took my older dog the 100 miles to meet him. They hit it off right away and he has been loved by us ever since.

Bio:
Kipper has some neurologic and orthopedic problems and we think he may have been abused. He is terrified of human feet and loud voices. Most of his emotional problems have been overcome by 5 years of loving him just the way he is. His physical difficulties keep him from doing agility or obedience, but he does enjoy tracking and playing with puppy Polly and his plethora of toys. He runs to find a toy to toss every day when we get home because he is happy to see us and he chooses a different toy to take to bed each night. Kipper's secret to staying healthy in spite of his physical problems is staying fit and trim!
