Arrival Story:
We have a friend who breeds GSPs and he had a friend who needed to find a new home for his dog. We met her and thought she would be a great dog for us, so home she came! She was the best dog ever and thankfully she didn't suffer long with pancreatic cancer. She passed away in her sleep October 1, 2007.
Bio:
In her previous life, she lived outdoors with a variety of other, much larger dogs. We thought it might be difficult to turn her into a housedog, but she adapted really well. She has only had one accident in the house in the years we've had her and that was only because she was sick. She's just a big lover who loves to wear clothes--she gets crazy if you take off a bandanna or sweater she's been wearing--and has a hard time controlling her natural urges to chase squirrels, chipmunks, birds, etc. sometimes.
