Arrival Story:
We picked her out of a litter because she was adorable and she laid upside down like our old dog Gypsy. she weighed 3 pounds and looked liek a smashed in lady bug.

Bio:
ruby is a wild crazy pug. she's fast, slippery, and has cat-like stealth moves. She thinks hissing cats are inviting her to play. She's big and now looks like a pug instead of a ladybug. She is maturing into a young lady and is slowing down a bit. She has developed a discerning eye for dog friends. She no longer plays with everyone and anyone- now it's only the cream of the crop.

Changes in a pugs life

Well, Ruby has been growing up and on April 1st turned 2. She is now a grown up pug with responsibilities. She has three cats to manage, must stand sentry at all times to ensure that the perimeter of our yard is safe from squirrels, crows, neighbor cats, and small songbirds. She also protects the front of the house from US postal staff, new mom's walking their baby strollers on the sidewalk, and crows that come to the porch.

In two months we will be moving to Davis CA and Ruby will be in for a surprise. It gets pretty hot there in the summer. Hopefully she'll make some new friends when we get there. In the meantime, she is snoring away on the couch in her usual pug style. Happy as a clam.
