Carrying a box of 500 Q-tips down the hall that she had swiped from the bathroom cabinet. Imagine her -- busted-- dropping the box, and 20 Q-tips still sticking out of her mouth like quills on a porcupine.
Arrival Story:
Amy came to us shortly after Vinnie went to heaven, when Madeleine was ready for a new companion. Amy's previous companions had given her up to her breeder when they broke off their engagement; neither was in a position to keep her. She was "Silly" then, a fit name; but we though it was too, um . . . silly. Because she was a little lover girl from the start, she reminded us of "amore," love in in Italian (as in Italian Greyhound). And we already had Madeleine. Hmm. . . lover girl, amore, Amy, Madeleine, Amy Lynn. And there you have it. Amy Lynn Wood, with her lovely new name, joined our clan. A couple years ago, we were no longer in a position to keep Amy, so our friends Nichole and Mune adoped her from us. Amy, now Amie, lives the life of Riley in Seattle, as spoiled as any girl can be.
Bio:
In November 2002, Amy moved to Belltown in Seattle, a very chic neighborhood. She now lives with our friends Nichole and Mune Yamakawa. Amy, now Amie , no longer has to share a lap with anyone! Amie, a stylish yet elegant dresser, is quite vocal when meeting other dogs in the neighborhood during her thrice daily walks. We just love that when Nichole and Mune must travel without Amie, they frequently invite us to to have Amie visit. It's always such a treat for us, and our pups. Even if she is a big fat blanket hog.
