He used to love to go up to the bridge nearby so he could watch the cars go below us.

Sit, shake, down, roll over, speak, and 'wave' - presently the sleepy old boy is retired from tricks, though.

Arrival Story:
(In Loving Memory) Originally my family and I were planning on getting an English Springer Spaniel, but when we went to meet a two-year-old male named Brownie through a Springer Spaniel rescue, we discovered something different. Brownie's original owner had passed away, and during the months ensuing he had apparently been kept locked in a bathroom, free-fed, with a friend of the owner's coming over daily to let him use the bathroom. Finally, he was brought to the rescue, but said friend wasn't sure what breed he actually was. However, despite him being a different breed than we had anticipated, we absolutely fell in love with him - something about him just 'clicked' with us. So, we took him back with us that day!

Bio:
Brownie has an adorably amiable personality. He's -never- aggressive, and one of the most gentle dogs I've ever met. Very affectionate, too - loves petting and snuggles. He's also very much a pack animal, and always feels a need to check on and supervise members of the family. Edit: Brownie has been put to sleep. The grief I'm feeling is deep. I'll need time to recover from this.
