Arrival Story:
We will be picking up Winston this coming week (1/8-1/12) in order to foster him. He will be available through russell rescue & safe haven animal sanctuary rescue. PLEASE PASS ON THE WORD ABOUT THIS POOR LITTLE GUY. HE'S JUST 2 YEARS OLD! THANKS! Last July, Winston, came into the Madera Animal Shelter. He was listed on Petfinder.com and he was adopted very quickly. Everything was fine in his life until, sometime during the week of Dec 16th, he found himself back in the Madera Shelter again, as a stray. His owners have not come to claim him. Winston's card at the shelter has recently been marked in "red" ink and he is in a small cage by himself. It seems that he is on the euthanasia list. Winston is about 2 years old. He has a full tail... but he's a JRT for sure! Such a handsome face with such alert eyes! He needs a home where his owners are saavy about JRTs. He is neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his shots. If you can find it in your heart to save Winston from euthanasia and give him a forever home, please contact me as soon as you can.
