Arrival Story:
We adopted Murphy from Lone Star Basset Rescue in Houston, TX, a few weeks after our Rusty Paws left us. He comes from champion stock (g-pa is Ch. Hiflite Briarcrest Extra Man) but was just deemed not quite show quality nd put up for adoption.

Bio:
He ran for El Rey Fido, a coveted part in a parade float for dogs sponsored by the Humane Society of Bexar County for Fiesta 2006 in San Antonio. He didn't win but raised more than $1000 for homeless pets!
