Arrival Story:
Was looking for a friend for Paddy, our dingo. Found a chihuahua on Pet Finder that looked exactly like Paddy. His name was Domingo (aka, domingo the mini-dingo.) Went to meet Domingo at the pound and tried to connect with him for 2 hours. After he bit us 3 times, my husband gave up and left the room. I came out a short time later and my husband was laying on the floor with Lefty. I said "fine, we'll take that one" and we took him home that day, he was about 3-4 months old.

Bio:
His rear left leg had already been amputated by the time we met Lefty. The y said that Lefty's leg had been broken while with his original owners. They never took care of the injury, and the bones started to fuse back together on their own, and unfortunately without medical care the leg stuck out to the side and he couldn't use it. He was left at the pound that way and the doctors determined that amputation was the only option.
