Badges: Quick Bio:
| -mutt | -pound dog | -dog rescue | |
Likes: Sleeping, eating, following mommy around, watching the neighbors, sleeping some more. The only dog I've ever known who voluntarily wants to hang out in his kennel.

Pet-Peeves: Having his picture taken, thunder, strangers, flashlights, horses, anything even remotely scary

Favorite Toy: Murray the Moose

Favorite Food: Popcorn - he can hear it popping and comes running!

Favorite Walk: over the river and through the woods, Grandma & Grandpa's lot

Best Tricks: Doing whatever mom asks of him, unless it's scary. Complete trustworthiness.

Arrival Story: Charlie was the scrawniest, most pathetic dog at the shelter, so of course we had to bring him home. He was living on a farm with his brother, a few cows, and about a hundred chickens, and sleeping in a poop-filled travel trailer. He was rescued by the SPCA when the farmer (a very bad man!) stopped feeding them all. He has taken a lot of work and a lot of time, but we couldn't ask for a better, more trustworthy dog in our home.

Bio: Charlie is happier than he looks in photos, he just hates cameras. We used to dress him up for Halloween, but he's expressed his dislike of that idea, so we relented. He is Moya's personal plaything, but she's in love with him and he secretly loves her back. He kisses her when nobody's looking. He is Goodness to her Badness.

We lost our beloved Charlie on March 27, 2008. He was only 6-1/2 years old, and in the prime of his short yet eventful life. The sudden onset of kidney failure and stomach cancer led to the inevitable decision to put him to sleep after a short illness. We love him very much, and will miss him every day. He brought much joy to our lives.
