Pi's ACL Repair

Pi ruptured her ACL. We had surgery monday, November 6 to repair it. Day by day progress is at pi's other blog, http://dogsandjen.org/dogs/

 

Virginia Beach

There are few things Pi enjoys more than swimming. When we get within 500 yards of the ocean, she starts running around in the back seat, sniffing the air, and looking for balls on the floor.

This weekend, we went swimming at Virginia Beach. The public beaches were very dog friendly, and Pi and K got to fetch off leash in the big waves for about half an hour. When we got back to the hotel, we had the requisite salt-rinsing showers, and then Pi and K proceeded to get the bed damp and sandy as they napped.
