The not so Serious Tails of Winnie the Poodle

Tails of Scent

So for the first time in a while Sadie, Junior, and I went to see our groomer Ronnie. We drove for a while in the Bug until we got to a big building, then waited there for a while. The Bug is the big, green minivan our owners drive. It has a collar on it that says Bug, so that's what we all call it. After we waited a while Ronnie came in her small silver car and drove us away. During the long drive I fell asleep in the sun while sadie tried to sit on Ronnie's lap and Junior was buy freaking out. We got to her farm and she groomed us brushed us out, all the while chewing on a long white treat. She never gave us anyway, but she always had one. It smelled really bad, and the end was very hot. By the time we got home we were tired and clean.

But when you're clean aren't you supposed to smell good? Aren't you supposed to be pleasant smelling at least? Junior and Sadie and I, we smelled like those treats Ronnie always had. It hurt my nose a little, but we always get used to it. We always smell like it after Ronnie cleans us.
