outside kennel

Yesterday was the first time it has been nice enough to play outside. We have a dog run that we are able to play in. It is quite a big dog run. When we are inside the kennel we still have to wear our leashes cause it only has a 4 foot fence. Tsuki had to try to escape from the kennel a few times. First she found a spot in the corner where the fencing isn`t quite fitting together right, mom went and brought Tsuki back into the kennel, Tsuki then decided to show mom and dad that she is able to climb fencing with no trouble. Tsuki seems like she is an escape artist she will find any type of opening that she can fit through or go over. So far she hasn`t tried to go under yet but that will come with time I expect.

valentine`s day

Tonite after mom to us for our walk Mika and I decided that we were going to play chase in the house.Usually mom and dad don`t mind to much but tonite dad was not feeling well so he didn`t think it was funny.When mom was trying to make supper Mika and I got a little ruff with each other,to be honest it was mostly me getting ruff so mom seperated us Mika stayed in the bedroom with the door shut and I was in the living room.Mika did not like being locked up in the bedroom so she barked alot until mom gave in and let her back out.I was really happy when mom let her back out so I could play with Mika some more but mom took Mika into the kitchen with her and put up the baby gate to keep us apart.We could see each other but couldn`t play together we tried but that darn gate was in the way

a long time ago my human mom made Mika a web site.After I came to live with Mika and her owners my new mom included me in her web page you can see new pictures of me and Mika on that web site the web address is www.freewebs.com/mikaboo My human mom says that she will make me my own web site when she has more time.She says it takes time to make web pages as she has to do a lot of typing I don`t understand what she means by that but she seems like she always has to go to work.

Tsuki`s tale

On Thursday dad went shopping when he got home and was bring in the groceries he made the mistake of not making sure that the door was shut tight to keep us in as we did not have our leashes on.When the door popped open I desided that I was going to make a run for it .Dad tried to get to the door first but I was quicker than he was.He tried to chase me on foot but I was to quick for him so he went and got the car so he could follow me after he drove around for about an hour he went home and was going to phone the pound and the spca to let them know that if anyone found me he would be able to get me back.He had just picked up the phone and at the same time he looked out the window cause he was really worried about me.Just then I desided it was to go back home and he seen me walking back in the yard.He was so happy to see me that he didn`t even give me heck for running away like I did.

Mika & Tsuki

Mika & Tsuki are both pure bread shiba inus.Mika is Tsuki`s aunt.We already had Mika for just over a year when Tsuki came to live with us.Tsuki stayed with the breeder until she was almost 1 year old.She didn`t get along with her breeding females so the breeder emailed us to see if we knew anyone looking for a female shiba.We desided to take her as a friend for Mika.It turned out that that was the best thing for Tsuki she got along with Mika right from the start.We took Mika up to the breeders when we picked up Tsuki.They both rode in the back seat of the car,Tsuki was in a kennel and Mika just rode in the car.We stopped about half way home to let both girls out to do their buisness and from then on they have been best friends.They eat, play and sleep together since tsuki came into our home.It was one of the best decissions that we made.
