I bought Bismarck when he was 3 months old, or I should I say he bought me. We instantly fell in love with each other and he became my "Once in a lifetime dog". He was with me through all the bad things that happened in my life and he was the one who got me through it all. Without him, I don't really know what would have happened. I knew I had to keep going for him...and I did. Since he was bought from a pet store he had a ton of health problems his whole life but it never diminished his spirit and he lived a long, wonderful and VERY SPOILED life.
Bio:
May 2, 2002...the worst day of my life...the day I lost my best friend. He collapsed at 2am and I rushed him to the vet, hoping there was something I could do to save him. The vet told me he was suffering from Hermangiosarcoma and there was nothing we could do. As I held him in my arms he looked at me as if to say it was time to let him go. I continued to hold him as he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge at 4:oo am. To this day, I'm still not over it and I miss him terribly, but I know he's up there watching out for me and Spencer.
