Likes: Food, Food, Food, sleeping, playing with Mab's, chasing the other cats, mummy cuddles
Pet-Peeves: Going to the vets, Pepsi thinking she's the boss an not me, not getting enough food/treats
Favorite Toy: Rudolph my cuddly reindeer, Mab's the cat
Favorite Food: Gravy bones, schmacko's anything really except healthy stuff like vegetables yuck!
Favorite Walk: I'd much rather run round the house/garden than go walkies
Best Tricks: Her gay bark, being able to make mummy ruth laugh or collapse at my sweetness no matter how naughty i am or where i've wee'd when i shouldn't
Arrival Story: We found Piggy through a website, she was living in Worcester with her mum, dad, 2 saints and another pug so we knew she'd be fine with our saint pepsi. We only got piggy cos we lost our Sally woof and missed having another dog around as did pepsi.
Bio: Piggy is a real comic, she tells Pepsi what to do despite their being a 60kg weight difference between them, she barks at all animals on tv and seems convinced that she's bigger than she is, she puts up with me dressing her up in silly dog clothes, she's stolen my wifes spot on the sofa and claimed it as her bed so she's always next to mummy and she seems to be in a love/hate relationship with our cat Mab's all the other cats just get barked at and chased. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her she's so adorable!

I've Been On Dogster Since:
Wow where has time gone? It's ages since i last wrote on my diary *bad puggy* anyway last time i wrote about us hopefully getting a new brother, well sadly that didn't work out as he was too scared of mummy sonia's wheelchair, i tried telling him it wasn't scary an that mummy would love him so much but poor boy had never even been in a house before let alone seen something strange like a wheelchair so he just wasn't having it. :-( I hope he found his forever home soon after though.
Anyway since then we've had a new sister woof come join us and our little family, you can see her profile down there she's called Ebby sheep and mum says i have to be nice and gentle with her cos she's an old lady and 12 years old now and that this is her retirement home where she can take it easy. She's a nice sister to have well apart from when she evicts me off the sofa for mummy cuddles, she a happy doggy and always dancing around when she's excited although i do think she's stealing my titbits, mummy says we all get the same but i don't believe her hmmppphhh. She's been living with us for a year now but it seems like she's always been here, mind you we all feel like that i think its cos our mummy's love us so much that we forget we ever lived anywhere else, we are lucky woofs aren't we to have found such a good forever home!
Also new in the house is another one of those hissing ratbag things, cats i think they're called, it's grey and stripey and in a cage at the moment as we dunno if its having babies or not, it was a stray anyway and looks like it might be staying if it doesn't have a mum or dad to go back too. I guess i'll soon be able to teach it that i'm boss around here altho the rest of the hissy things don't seem to take much attention to that, what does a pug have to do to get respect around here huh???
Mummy has also said we might also be getting some doggy cousins to stay sometimes as she wants to do "doggy fostering", these doggys don't have 2 mummy's like us or even a mummy and daddy and so need somewhere to stay and be loved until they find there own mum or dad to love them. I don't mind i guess as long as it doesn't touch 1. my food and 2. my spot on the sofa humph sorry but that is none negotiable, mummy Ruth, my breakfast and my spot on the sofa next to mummy sonia or between my two mummies are my favourite things in my puggy life!
Anyway typing makes me tired, off for a nap before mummy ruth gets home from work which = dinner time *yay* lets see if i can steal some leftovers! *waves paw*
Night all, pug and kisses

Hey me and my sister Pepsi went on a new outing this morning, we went somewhere called a 'dog rescue centre' apparently its a place poor doggys live when there old mummys and daddys can't take care of them any more and so this centre finds them all homes with new mummys and daddys. It was great they had a big enclosure we could run round in off lead as there was nowhere i could escape and we got to play (and sniff bums) with a lovely dog called Tanna.
I haven't been there before but Pepsi has as our old sister Sally (who lived here before me) came from the same place, i dunno why no one wanted Sally as apparently she was lovely, a gentle old Springer Spaniel, unfortunately she only lived for another 6 months after my mummys got her though and went to Rainbow Bridge at the age of 11 years old last Dec. Sally led mummy Sonia to me though and i came to live here so i could help heal mummys heart which was very sore from loosing her Sally woof.
I think i've done a good job though *wags tail* as now mummy felt ready again to try and get another older rescue dog although the doggy she's found isn't that old, just a year or so older than me and a year and a half younger than Pepsi, 3 years old to be exact. We went to meet him today, he's a cross between a Bernese mountain dog, a Newfoundland and a Border Collie and is white with black patches, mummy says he looks like a large collie but fluffier, apparently his old mummy was trying to create a new breed of dog called a Welsh mountain dog but came on hard times and had to give up her dogs, Tanna the dog is very scared of everyone as he's only ever lived in a barn before and not experienced a normal house or things like cars or wheelchairs or anything like that really, but my mummy's and us doggys are going to work with him and try and get his trust so that eventually hopefully he will come home with us and be our brother. I so hope we manage it although it is going to be hard as he is very scared of mummy sonia's wheelchair, we're going to take it slowly though and just see how it goes, mummy says even if he never gets used to the wheelchair enough to come home with us at least him getting to meet new people and meet new dogs and getting to see a home environment and all the things in it will do him good so that he can find a new family to live with.
*woofs and kisses*
Piggy
So now i am 2 years old, can't say it feels much different to being 1 year old actually but my mummys seemed to be pleased with my birthday and spoiled me which i did like. I had a lovely day, i got a new toy my duckduck as you can see in one of my pictures and its nearly as big as i am. I also got a yummy pigs ear to eat as well and the horrible diet was almost forgotten for a day.
Yes just before my birthday i went to the groomers at the vets and when i was picked up they passed on a message to my mum that i was getting too much of a porker and needed to go on a diet. Mummy says me eating anything and everything was not helping and so i was on strict rations and walkies timetable, no food left down within my reach, the cat food moved into a room with a cat flap so i can't steal there food (cat food is really yummy), no leftovers off mummys plate, no puggie eyes to be used for begging. *sigh* It's a hard life being a pug isn't it? Anyway it has been going well if i do say so myself, i eat my meals now without being so fussy about what bowl its served in or insisting i eat it off the floor and not out the bowl and the treats have been strictly rationed and are usually of the light biscuit variety instead of the gravy bones or schmacko's. Also mummy gives me these great treats either once or twice a day, she hand feeds them to me and they taste yummy even though they look and come in the same back the doggy kibble comes in, i don't like doggy kibble you see but i do like these special treats. Anyway hopefully when i next go to the vets or the groomers they will say i've lost weight and that will make mummy happy as she says if i eat too much i'll have less years of mummy cuddles which makes mummy and me sad so i definately don't want that to happen! I love my mummy so much and i know she loves me too so i'll try and be a good puggie and not beg for treats or food.
My mummys went out twice this weekend (both times without me may i point out!), on saturday they went to Chester Zoo but luckily they didn't steal any of the animals and bring them home with them. They did however buy me a new toy, a soft rattle with an elephant head on it which is great to play with, just my size and it makes a noise when i shake it in my mouth. Then yesterday they went to the pet store and bought a BIG box of pigs ears, 50 of them, unfortunately i can't eat them all myself and i'll have to share them with my sister Pepsi but still thats a lot of pigs ears for a little puggie. They also bought me another toy, a small fluffy, squeaky purple duck-billed platypus, it's so cool! I do love my toys and love playing with mummy with them and mummy says it'll help me lose some of my belly as well.
Anyway Eastenders is about to start so i need to get ready to bark at those hippos before it. See ya soon. *Puggie love*
