Nicknames:
Cookums, Cook, Puppy, Nose

Quick Bio:

Likes:
Laying in a comfortable bed. He loves curling up at the end on blankets or clothes. Cookie also has a favorite chair that he loves to lay in to look out the window. You can see it in his photo.

Pet-Peeves:
Going outdoors to go to the bathroom when it's cold or raining. In addition, he also doesn't like when people put their face near his. Cookie is also not fond of it when we have to put drops in his ears when he has an infection.

Favorite Toy:
He doesn't play much anymore, but he always enjoys romping with the outdoor cats.

Favorite Food:
Anything human or beef doggy treats.

Favorite Walk:
We live out in the country, so he enjoys going for walks on the road.

Best Tricks:
He behaves like a bird dog and sometimes uses his nose to point. He's an amazingly smart dog. He knows the sound of each car we own because he barks at all strangers, but recognizes our cars at night. Knows when he is going to get groomed, going out, etc.

Arrival Story:
A new pet store had just opened up in our town. My family had never had any sort of pet before, but begged my brothers and I begged our father to take us "just to look." We got to the store and saw two white puppies sleeping in the cage. A worker brought the male dog out to us and I held it. We begged our father to buy the dog for us, but he insisted that our mom be brought to see the dog before he committed to the purchase. We brought our mother back later in the day, only to find and elderly couple cooing over him. My father rushed in and told the workers that we wanted to buy the puppy, as my mom gushed over how cute the dog was. Needless to say, Cookie ended up with us...and not with those other folks. Thanks goodness. :)

Bio:
Cookie broke his leg as a puppy and learned to go up stairs with only the use of three legs. Even today he only uses three of his legs when climbing stairs. He is a member of our family and we even buy holiday and birthday gifts for him, in addition to taking him to reunions and family gatherings.
