During the winter if you happen to live in New England there really isn't much to do here. It is to cold to chase anything even with my coat on. I do not care for -4 degrees and the wind blowing. I would rather be sitting by the nice warm fireplace that mom keeps putting wood into. Either laying on the sofa or on the warm hardwood floor that is the best place for me until spring when I can chase the birds then summer and the kids are home from school......
Oh it was that time again. My annual vet visit, I didn't like it not one bit. Even with my brother Cotto there I got blood work taken, the vet listened to my lungs, felt my belly. Then she gave me my shots. OUCH!!! I weighed 25.5 pounds and she told mom I should lose a few pounds. What???? Lose a few pounds, are you kidding me. The vet said to cut down on the treats and mom said I give him only one before bed, but then dad said Well I kinda of give him 3 or 4 when I come home from work at 4am and I take them for a quick potty walk.
So now I get half a treat from dad. I got another case of the schnauzer eye nasty. I'm now being treated with an ointment and that seems to be working.
Yesterday I was playing in the muddy yard and liking it. This morning I wake up and Cotto and I are bombarded with snow not that we mind, we like to run in the fresh snow and silly Cotto likes to roll around in it. BOL I think mom forgot to mention this big storm to us.
It was snowing just a wee bit when we went out at 9 p.m. last night but we are used to a flurry or two so we didn't think much and I thought since all that snow we had during the winter finally melted this was just going to be a little dusting. Well I was wrong.
Mom couldn't get the door open and she needed the boys to help shovel. Yup there is a lot of snow my belly get buried my legs I couldn't find. Mom had one of the boys shovel a nice path out back for me to go potty. I am now cuddled by the fire and plan to stay there.
