Arrival Story:
I was looking for a small dog as a gift for my ex. After looking at hundreds of dogs online, I found him at www.petfinder.com. Possible adopters were scheduled to see him a couple of days away, so I played hooky from work, made the 8 hour drive to LA with my best bud, fell in love at first sight, and adopted him. He decided that he loves me best of all and we've been inseperable ever since.

Bio:
One day in S. LA the police got a call saying that somebody was killing a dog. When they arrived on scene, they found my little guy choking at the end of a short rope; he couldn't move to give himself some slack because his owner had stomped on him and broken his femur. The police rushed him to the vet; it was discovered that his other back leg had a partially healed fracture. The bastard who owned him had stomped on him before. He was also starving, filthy, and matted. The vet hooked him up with a small dog rescue organization who sponsored all the surgeries he needed to repair his back legs. He was fostered by some very caring people who got him up to a good weight, did his physical therapy, and started the process of socializing. Fennec was shy when we picked him up, but was a perfect angel during the trip home. He's utterly blossomed since then; he's still nervous and can be barky, but is improving constantly. He's primarily longhair chihuahua and has all the attitude. He's a totally fierce cuddly little clown.
